A 11.8 x 7.4 x 6.3 cm matrix, the top almost completely covered by saddle-shaped crystals of dolomite to 1.3 cm in size, these replaced by beautiful yellow crystalline "turkey fat" smithsonite. Minor chipping is present as seen in the photos. Overall I feel that this is in very good condition damage-wise. Part of the matrix contains saw marks from trimming; these are not visible when the specimen is displayed properly and the piece sits perfectly for display. These are shaped fine and I do not think detracts at all from the specimen. Ex Dawn and Jim Minette collection. This is very fine and choice for a cabinet sized example from this noted Arkansas locality. Ref: The Mineralogical Record, 24(4),pp:285-299.
